to education, where he has presented at International Labor Organization (ILO) and UNESCO amongst other prestigious platforms on the transformative potential of Generative AI in learning environments. Dr Rana is the recipient of the prestigious 2024 Education Horizons Grant from the Department of Queensland Education to train K-12 school teachers to use Generative AI in their workflows and teaching and learning in classrooms.
Dr. Rana's career spans academia and industry, including roles as a Discipline Leader in Management at Griffith University, Program Director of Bachelor of Business at University of Tasmania, Assistant Professor at University of Doha for Science & Technology amongst others. His research contributions have advanced understanding of work design, AI ethics and Indigenous data sovereignty. In the consulting sphere, Dr. Rana serves as an ExO Consultant, advising C-suite executives on leveraging exponential technologies for business transformation.
